al righty then...
So back to this Golem,
Finally the face and hair. I knew I couldn't (or shouldn't) do much in the way of clay on the face because most commercial doll heads including this one are Rubber....which means they are squooshy!
NOw these Monster high Cam pack heads have a hard top and in most cases this is a bummer because you can't really sew in hair through the plastic....but NOT in this case it was perfect for laying the clay.

I gave her rusty chains also as an abstract version of hair ( which could also be another way she was enslaved)......bet you never thought a doll could be so ...umm...deep... but I liked her story as she unfolded almost like the Bride of Frankenstein in some ways



Her face was entirely done with paint and pastels with a little faux marble finish and she would have almost a stoic sadness ,like the statues of angels you see in cemeteries that almost seem to cry because of weathering.

 

and strangely enough,I will miss her when she's gone

Arms Race.....

Arms Race.........to the finish

Now where was I ... OH yes! Arms!
I had a bit of a story I wanted to tell with her so I gave her some nice warrior guns... But I also wanted to give her a little sparkle just like the actual stone I was using for reference

(Yes,I work in CHAOS) but strangely enough the left half of the desk is pretty ship shape.

I embedded metal loops in various places as to imply she had been chained up at one time or another.

and rusty streaks coming from the metal rings from weather and time

Torsos and Amazons

Today.. Torso...
I was asked to make her strong and sexy... well I don't know about the 'sexy ' part but being a mega fan of Wonder Woman and having a grasp on what real amazons supposedly looked like I though I'd start there.
Amazons supposedly were said to have one of their breasts removed for better movement in combat..... Great Hera!! Umm No thanks! I'll just be a Ninja instead :/
I started out making her very ribby and then later was not feeling it
but I kept going because I knew eventually she'd show me what she wanted to be(the BLUE GUMMY thing is that stuff you use to hang up posters,you knead it (lol need) every once in a while to clean your hands from dirt and debris to keep the polymer clean.....ITS GREAT,I had such Dirty polymer problems in the past)

As I went on I added cracks and rock like shapes
I also added a deep crack on her chest where later on I will use Glow-in -the-dark paint and stuff so it looks like there is an energy coming from within

on her back I added faux shards of quartz and ruin/tribal in various places.
